How to recognise it
Small, raised, coral-pink pustules on dead or dying woody stems, which can spread onto adjoining healthy wood if left in place.
Life cycle and conditions
A fungus that colonises dead wood first, then can spread into stressed or damaged living tissue, especially in damp conditions.
Prevention
Remove dead wood promptly rather than leaving prunings or dead stems in place near living plants.
How to treat it
